GLEN MORAY DISTILLERY
A warm welcome awaits you at this friendly and informal working distillery in Elgin, the capital of Speyside.

ELGIN CATHEDRAL
'Lantern of the North' The superb remains of a majestic and beautiful 13th century cathedral. Almost destroyed in 1390 by Alexander Stewart infamous Wolf of Badenoch. You can visit the Bishops home at Spynie palce two miles north of the town.

PLUSCARDEN ABBEY
Pluscarden Abbey is an abbey of bededictine monks. Its build dates from 13th century. It produces stained glass, apiary and other croft products. Its Gregorian chant is internationally known and is only 3 miles from the cabins.

DOLPHINS
Dolphins can be seen along with ospreys, grey seals and otters at the mouth of the river spey in the Moray Firth Wildlife Centre some 18 miles away from the cabins.

LUXURY
Why not visit Johnstons woollen mill which has stood in Elgin since 1797. It's the only Britsh mill still transforming cashmere from raw materials to luxurious finished garments. Tour the mill, learn its history, treat yourself in the shop and enjoy a home baked lunch.

CAIRNGORMS
Travel for fifty miles and take the funicular railway in the heart of the cairngorms National Park up to 1097m and you're nearly at the top of the mountain. The views are stunning and in the winter there's skiing too.

GOLFING
There are 7 golf courses within a radious of 10 miles of Elgin including Elgin golf club which lies .5mile south of Elgin with 18 holes and driiving range.

CASTLES
such as Brodie which is situated on the west side of Forres and Duffus which is 5 miles north of Elgin are but a few in this area.
